The detector is placed on the car window and will switch into use following a pre-programmed schedule or by (wireless) hand sensor. After switching on, the detector will register both vibrations as tilting movements (for detecting very slow movements that cannot be registered by the vibration sensor).
When the alarm is set off, due to break-in or attempted break-in, an audio signal will instantly be given and a (wireless) signal is given to a pre-programmed set of telephone numbers. These numbers will be rung and a pre-programmed message is sent to the receiver. This has great advantages when many cars are stored on a large area: The problem area is directly known, as every car can be identified by its description (example alarm message: “Alarm red Audi A3”).

Obviously this system is also used in other areas, such as security of container construction, vacant buildings, etc.
